Hand-Carved Garmr Wolf Cane Handle – Solid Oak

Bring the fierce character of Norse mythology to your walking cane with our Hand-Carved Garmr Wolf Solid Oak Cane Handle. Featuring a detailed wolf-like head with pointed ears, an elongated muzzle and expressive carved features, this handcrafted replacement handle gives a compatible StickYourCane shaft a bold, mythological appearance without replacing the entire walking stick.

Crafted from solid oak and available in 6 wood colors, this Garmr Wolf Handle combines traditional Ukrainian woodcarving with a design inspired by the legendary hound of Norse mythology. Its distinctive animal sculpture, broad wooden grip and carved finger contours make it an appealing choice for Viking enthusiasts, mythology collectors and lovers of unusual walking cane accessories.

The Hand-Carved Garmr Wolf Cane Handle

The defining feature of this handle is the striking Garmr Wolf head sculpted directly into the solid oak. Its upright pointed ears, watchful eyes, long muzzle and carefully shaped facial contours create a distinctive profile. The dark finish shown in the product photograph highlights the carving, with lighter tones revealing the animal's facial details and natural wood grain.

Rather than using a separate metal ornament, the Garmr Wolf sculpture forms part of the wooden handle itself. The animal's neck flows into the curved grip, creating a continuous design that showcases the craftsmanship of the woodcarver.

The handle extends backward into a broad, gently curved wooden grip with shaped finger contours along the underside. Below the wolf's head, carved lines continue down the mounting section, adding texture and visual interest to the overall design.

In Norse mythology, Garmr is a fearsome hound associated with the realm of Hel and the events of Ragnarök. This legendary creature gives the handle a distinctive identity beyond conventional wolf-inspired accessories, making it especially appealing to collectors of Viking and Norse mythology designs.

Each Garmr Wolf Handle is handcrafted from solid oak and made to order in our supplier's workshop in Ukraine. Choose from 6 wood colors: Walnut, Caramel, Natural, Cherry, Black or White. The carved Garmr Wolf design remains the defining feature across the available finishes.

Compatibility & Ordering

The Garmr Wolf Handle does not fit every cane shaft. Please check your existing cane's connection and screw size before ordering to help ensure you select a suitable replacement handle.

How to Choose Your Screw Size

Unscrew the handle from your existing walking cane and measure the outside diameter of its threaded connecting screw. We offer the following screw size options:

• M6 — 6 mm (approximately 1/4 inch): Select this option if your existing connecting screw measures 6 mm in diameter.
• M8 — 8 mm (approximately 5/16 inch): Select this option if your existing connecting screw measures 8 mm in diameter.
• Not Sure?: If you cannot determine your screw size, select "Not Sure?" from the Screw Size options and we will assist you.

Important: The screw diameter must match your existing cane connection. Matching the diameter alone does not guarantee compatibility with every cane shaft. Thread pitch, connection depth and the design of the shaft attachment may also affect fit.

If you're unsure which cane you own or whether this replacement handle will fit, please contact us before ordering. You can send us information or a photograph of your existing cane and we'll help determine compatibility.

What's Included

This listing is for the Garmr Wolf Handle and connecting screw only. The decorative collar ring, cane shaft, cane tip, wrist strap and other accessories are not included. This is a replacement handle, not a complete walking cane.

Handcrafted to Order

Your Garmr Wolf Handle is individually made to order in our supplier's workshop in Ukraine. Please allow approximately 5–10 days for production before shipping.

Because each handle is individually carved and finished, small differences in wood grain, carving details, color and appearance are natural characteristics of a handmade product. When matching an existing cane shaft, wood colors may not be an exact match.

If you already own a compatible StickYourCane shaft, the Hand-Carved Garmr Wolf Solid Oak Cane Handle offers a distinctive way to transform its appearance. Choose your preferred wood color and screw size before ordering and enjoy a handcrafted design inspired by one of Norse mythology's legendary creatures.
